Video Vimeo Review – Is This New Social Network Website Helpful Or Not?

For the past few years, a lot of people have had the idea that Video Vimeo is going to be the next big thing in Internet marketing. However, I don’t think this is true. I believe that the reason why Video Vimeo hasn’t blown up like MySpace and Facebook is because of a few different factors.

First, and probably most importantly, Video Vimeo is not designed for making money. That’s what MySpace and Facebook are designed for, and that’s what attracted a lot of people to them. By selling advertising on your page, you can make a nice profit from it. But with Video Vimeo, there is no way to do that. All of your traffic is simply users who stumbled across your video, and they’re not going to be inclined to buy anything unless you’re selling something.

The second factor that Video Vimeo fails a lot of people is that it just doesn’t have a good aesthetic. At least, not compared to MySpace and Facebook. Many of the people who come to Video Vimeo are not looking for artwork or pictures. They’re more apt to just read about the video that they’re interested in, and that’s what really counts at this point. So if the video isn’t textured, colorful, and creative, then that’s not going to appeal to a lot of people. At least, not as much as it would if those things were present.

Video Vimeo also lacks any real functionality. The search options are very basic, very poor. They even render incorrectly sometimes. Other than that, everything else is very hit or miss. So, if you don’t know how to use it, then you’re just going to waste your time.

And finally, the other big issue with Video Vimeo is that it’s not very easy to use. If you come across a problem, then you’re going to have to learn a new HTML-file in order to fix it. It’s not much of a problem, but it can be frustrating when you’re dealing with something that could have easily been fixed in the first place.

All in all, Video Vimeo is going to lose a lot of its appeal over time. It will probably still have some users, but the number of people that will be able to find it in any given search is going to drop dramatically. People who aren’t serious about their videos won’t spend time looking for them on Video Vimeo at all. Those that do will probably only do so after having wasted a lot of time trying to use the basic tools. It will remain useful as a tool for aspiring filmmakers, but as of right now, I give it four stars out of five.
